Patricia Sigmon Brennan, 64, passed away May 13, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth to the late George and Reba Sigmon. She retired from Chesapeake Public Schools as a music teacher and was recognized in 2001 as Music Educator of the Year. She was a member of the Virginia Educators Music Association and was an accomplished dulcimer instrumentalist.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Brennan; a brother, Billy Sigmon and his wife Julie; two sister-in-laws, Marion Eudy and husband Ron and Pat Riddick and husband Ernest; and a host of extended family, friends and students.

A funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, May 20, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Pastor Jimmy W. Jones. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 – 8:30 P.M.
