POTENZA Joseph "Frank" Potenza, age 73, passed away December 21, 2011.

He is survived by wife, Sharon (Mason) Potenza; daughter, Ronda Potenza-Garcia; son-in-law, Felix Garcia; step-sons, Brad Mason and Marvin Mason; granddaughters, Sara Garcia and Dylann Mason; and grandsons, Declan Mason and Brogan Mason; brother, John Potenza and his wife, Carol.

Joe was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a sergeant in the Ohio National Guard. He was an avid skydiver and a member of the Ohio National Guard Parachute Team and the Columbus Sport Parachute Club. He was a member of the Worthington Seventh-Day Adventist church and an active member of its Men's Bible Study Fellowship.

Joe was a dedicated husband and wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He will truly be missed.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Masonic service 6:30 p.m., at the EGAN-RYAN NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd. Private service and burial later. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org. ;
