Alice ''Nan'' Randolph Cotton, 65, a resident of Port Norfolk, died Dec. 23, 1998, at her residence.
Born in Enfield, N.C., on July 5, 1933, she was a member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church and the Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, Noble Allen Cotton Sr.; two daughters, Bonnie Cotton Walker and her husband, Danny Edward Walker, and Eva Catherine Culpepper; a son, Noble Allen Cotton Jr.; a sister, Carolyn Randolph Laney; and four grandchildren, Richard Allen Price, Donna Gayle Price, Laurie Anne Madden and Wayne Stuart Culpepper II.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Port Norfolk Baptist Church, 401 Broad St., Port Norfolk, Portsmouth, with the Rev. James R. Woodland and Deacon Emory Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
