Portsmouth - Nita Twigg Reagan, 87, formerly of Portsmouth, died August 29, 2018 at her home in Huntersville, NC.

 

Mrs. Reagan, born in Johnston County, NC, was the co-owner and operator of Bob's Tax Service for 35 years and spent many years as a successful realtor in the Tidewater area prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection and was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Reagan, Sr. and her son Christopher O. Reagan.

 

Survivors include her children, Robert W. Reagan, Jr. of Chesapeake, Stephen D. Reagan and wife Helen of Portsmouth, Clement A. Reagan of Huntersville, NC, and David M. Reagan and wife Betty of Orange Park, FL; one sister, Pat Hinton and her husband Ed of Micro, NC; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, at the Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Rd., Suffolk. Afterwards, a reception will be held at Church of the Resurrection. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507.
