Erika Ann Worthington, 33, of the 3000 block of Reese Drive, passed away at a local hospital June 1, 2006. She was born July 2, 1972, in Portsmouth, to her parents Donna Worthington and the late Edward T. Worthington.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Donna Worthington; two daughters, Brittany Hales and Dayna "Nikki" Worthington; three brothers, Edward Worthington Jr., Chuck and Jeff Higgins; four sisters, Pam Worthington, Karen Fall, Rhonda Webb and Dana Worthington; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. T.M. Frye. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the family’s residence, 3055 Reese Drive, Portsmouth, VA 23703 until 6 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Erika’s daughters fund and should be sent to Erika’s mother.
