Ronnie Banks, 53, passed away June 10, 2009, in a local hospital. Ronnie was a former employee of Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Ronnie is survived by his mother, Mildred Sawyer Banks; his son, Danny Banks; and sister, Karen Banks Toombs. He was predeceased by his father, Bernard C. Banks. The family will receive friends at their home, 3605 Sir Wilfred Place, Virginia Beach, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 14. A private burial will follow.
