PORTSMOUTH - Pamela Ann Jones, 52, of the 100 block of Maxwell Ave., passed away Oct. 28, 2003 in her home after a long illness.
A native of Portsmouth, Ms. Jones was retired from NAVMASSO as a computer analyst. She was a lifetime member of Highland Baptist Church. She graduated from Cradock High School and James Madison University.
She is survived by her parents, Robert D. and Anne B. Jones of Portsmouth; a brother, Robert J. Jones of Washington, D.C.; three cousins, Ann Goodheart of Tryon, N.C., Joseph Jones Jr. and Deborah Jones, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; and uncle, Joseph Jones Sr. of Los Angeles.
A funeral will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, with the Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Haven Children's Home, Highland Baptist Church or a charity of one’s choice.
