Phyllis D. Sox, 58, died Thursday February 5, 2009 at a local hospital. Ms. Sox was born in Portsmouth, Va. and moved to Jacksonville. She spent most of her life as a Registered Nurse.

Survivors include her mother, Nellie; brother, Phillip; daughters, Angela and Kim; grandchildren Preston and Kembri.
