Lynda Louise Combs-Harrell

Portsmouth - Lynda Louise Harrell, 67, of the 4400 block of Green Acres Pkwy was called home on Monday, November 3, 2014 in her home. She was born on August 26, 1947 in Mt. Airy, NC; and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Combs.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John T. Harrell; a daughter, Sherri L. Riddle and her husband Luther; her mother, Lettie E. Combs; two sisters, Caffee First and Debbie Hartwig; two brothers, Bernie Combs and Joey Combs; two grandchildren, Shane Large and Steven Riddle; a great grandson, Aiden Large; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 7, 2014 in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Entombment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 - 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Center at Maryview Medical Center.
