The Virginian-Pilot, (Norfolk, VA) July 3, 1990
John Maurice Reavis, 44, of the 3000 block of Princess Anne Crescent, a civil engineer, died July 1, 1990, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Reavis, a native of Portsmouth, was the president of Applied Management Engineering. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Bond Reavis; a daughter, Jennifer Bond, and a son, Joshua P. Bond, both of Chesapeake; his parents, Florence J. Reavis and M.W. Reavis of Portsmouth; and a sister, Janice Seager of Belle Mead, N.J.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Kevin Wilson. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
