Portsmouth - Bradford L. Pleasants Jr. "Buddy,"67, passed away December 4th, 2012 in Portsmouth Va. He was preceded in death by his parents Bradford L. Pleasants Sr. and Violet Pleasants and his sister Margaret Rhinehardt. Buddy is survived by his sons Brian Pleasants and Chad Pleasants along with Daughter-In-Law Lesley Pleasants, and five grandchildren, Seth, Austen, Cori, Arik, Alec, and niece Terry Eubanks. Buddy was best known for his quick wit, encouraging words, and compassionate heart, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Buddy's lasting legacy is that he was truly a wonderful Father and genuine friend. A funeral service will be held on Friday December 7, at 3 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in Portsmouth. The family will greet friends immediately following in the Church Reception Hall.
