CHESAPEAKE - Armond Edward Edge, 63, of
Douglas Road, went to be with his Lord
and Savior March 20, 2009, in
Chesapeake. His son, Kenneth Armond and his
parents, Everett Armond and Doris Elizabeth Edge, predeceased him.
Eddie was a body technician at Colonial Chevrolet for 26 years
before moving to Don Comer Ford for the past 15 years. He was a
member of
Deep Creek Baptist
Church. He combined his
love of cooking and talent for woodworking in his personalized
kitchen. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years,
Shirley D. Edge; daughter, Rebecca Hall and husband LeRoy III; two
sons, James Edge and David Edge and wife Amy; four sisters, Nancy
Powell, Joyce Wade and husband Don, Linda Ravgiala and husband Al
and Patricia Christian and husband James; brother, Donnie Edge and
wife Laura; and seven cherished grandchildren. A funeral will be
held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel by Pastor Sam
Lewis Jr. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral
Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
