Dorothy Marie Hall, 58, of Cotton Place, died Dec. 6, 2003, in her home. She was a native of Portsmouth.

Survivors include her husband, Sonny Wayne Hall; her parents, Andrew Randolph and Thelma Evans New of Toano, Va.; three sons, Sonny Ray Hall and wife Karen of Virginia Beach, Andy Hall and wife Michelle of Chesapeake and James Hall of Portsmouth; two sisters, Sue McCaleb Evans and Linda Holland, both of Portsmouth; a brother, James New of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren, Ericka, Elizabeth, Ashley and Andy.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Archie Corbin Jr. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times at 415 Biltmore Place, Portsmouth.
