Judith D. Culpepper

Chesapeake – Judith Dodd Culpepper, of the 3400 block of Martin Johnson Road, a former teacher, died May 2, 1988, in Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Culpepper, a native of Smithfield, N.C., was a former teacher in Chesaepake public schools. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Roland W. Culpepper Jr.; a daughter, Rebecca C. Lupton; two sons, Roland Daniel Culpepper and Timothy Sean Culpepper; a sister, Laura Diane Asble, all of Chesapeake; two brothers, Cecil R. Dodd and Phillip W. Dodd, both of Portsmouth; and a grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Deep Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Roscoe A. Musselwhite. Burial will be in Culpepper Family Cemetery. Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, is handling arrangements.

Friends may join the family at the residence.
