PORTSMOUTH - Hubert Stanley Clements of the 200 block of Constitution Ave. passed away March 21, 2006, on his 61st birthday. He was the son of the late Hubert S. and Ruth Chandler Clements.

He is survived by two daughters, Glenda DeVinney of Newport, N.C., and Dawn Baronner and husband Terry of Chesapeake; three grandsons, Nicholas DeVinney, Shane Baronner and Seth Baronner; and his friend and companion, Linda Wesley.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Pinecrest Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be private in Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oasis Social Ministry. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, will be handling these arrangements.
