William Frederick Walker, 49, of the 2600 block of Barclay Ave., a retired auto mechanic, died Oct. 7, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Walker was born in Portsmouth. He had retired from Don Comer Ford. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Riley, Lisa Walker and Nichole Walker; his mother, Mary R. Walker; a sister, Barbara Daggett; and a brother, Ray A. Walker, all of Portsmouth; and a grandchild.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth G. Rice. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel.
