Dolores S. Leggett, 54, formerly of Suffolk, died Friday, March 13, 1998, in a Richmond hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse C. Leggett; two daughters, Kathy L. Claytor and husband, Douglas Claytor, of Newport News, Dawn L. Pope of Suffolk; a son, Christopher E. Leggett and his wife, Kelly Leggett, of Suffolk; three grandchildren, Gray Pope, Cord Pope and Travis Claytor; her father, Robert W. Swanson Sr.; two sisters, Carol Roye and Gloria Stallings; and a brother, Robert W. Swanson Jr., all of Portsmouth.

Mrs. Leggett worked for Hanover County Schools for 18 years as the cafeteria manager at South Anna Elementary School.

Her remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, Mechanicsville, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.
