PORTSMOUTH - Annette Strickland Bishop, 62, passed away Dec. 9, 2005, surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of the late John and Treva Strickland. She leaves behind two sons, Tony Dixon and Tim Dixon and her daughter-in-law, Jodi. She also leaves behind two sisters, Linda Strickland Rice and Pam Strickland Gray and her brother, William Strickland. She was the adoring grandmother to Joshua, Jonathan and Taylor Dixon.

Annette's family wishes to thank Martha Gray who was a longtime friend and devoted caretaker for the last two years.

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens at a later date.
