Barbara Joyce Bryant PORTSMOUTH - Barbara Joyce Bryant, 65, of the 500 block of McLean St., died Feb. 9, 2009, in her residence. A native of Portsmouth, she was retired from BASF Corporation and was a member of West Park Church of Christ. Survivors include her mother, Opal Stewart Lader of Portsmouth; two daughters, Sheila B. Manugo and husband Pete of Chesapeake and Kim D. Bryant of Virginia Beach; a son, Rob Bryant of Portsmouth; two sisters, Peggy Jones and husband Wesley of Corapeake, N.C., and Cynthia Rowe and husband Curtis of Portsmouth; a brother, Dale Stewart and wife Sandy of Chesapeake; and three grandchildren, Allison Stahl, Tyler Manugo and Sarah Manugo. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Mr. Keith Lewis. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
