Chesapeake - Jackie "Jack" Sweeney Morris, 70, of the 4000 block of Oak Dr. passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 in a local hospital. He was born on November 10, 1942 in Smithfield, VA to the late Nolan and Charlotte Morris; and was a 1962 graduate of Cradock High School, where he was very involved in sports.

He is survived by his wife, Martha E. Morris; a daughter, Natascha Morris; three step-sons; Steven Fletcher and wife Linda, Phillip Fletcher and wife Diane and Bryan Fletcher and wife Anna; a brother, Johnny Morris and wife Libby; six grandchildren, Deniz Morris, Ginny, Steven, Andrew, Kelly and Roxanne Fletcher; a niece, Becky Woods; a nephew, Noland Morris; and a host of other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel by Rev. Tom Potter. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends at the Crittenden, Eclipse & Hobson Ruritan Club, 8881 Eclipse Drive, Suffolk, VA 23433.
