Gary N. Corns, 49, of the 600 block of Whitehurst Landing Road, died Feb. 6, 1993, in his residence.

Mr. Corns was born in Portsmouth. He was self-owner of Gary Corns & Assoc., and was a member and deacon of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.Survivors include his wife, Connie Thorne Corns; a daughter, Stephanie L. Corns, and a son, Steven G. Corns, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lucille Silverthorne of Chesapeake; and a brother, Ronald W. Corns of Portsmouth. He was the son of the late Norene McGhee Corns and Jesse Noel Corns.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Eastminster Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Russell G. Flaxman and the Rev. John C. Speight. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.
