Portsmouth - Barbara Walker Daggett, 72, died Sunday May 26, 2013. A lifelong resident of Portsmouth, she graduated from Cradock High School and retired from AMF Bowling of Western Branch as Snack Bar Manager.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Owens Daggett, and brothers, Sonny Walker and Freddie Walker. Left to cherish her memory are a son, David A. Daggett and wife Sherrine of Havelock, N.C.; a daughter, Doreen L. Garrison and husband Paul of Suffolk; a brother, Ray Walker and wife Mary of Portsmouth; four granddaughters, Dalaney and Carley Daggett, Kasey McIntosh and Heather Garrison; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

 A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, at 11 AM in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
