ARLEN KILPATRICK

Arlen ``Wade'' Kilpatrick, 57, of the 2600 block of Gilmerton Road, died July 21, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.

He was born in Pawhuska, Okla., and was a pipefitter for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Shop (NU)56 retiring with 25 years of service.Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Bonnie S. Kilpatrick; a son, David Wade Kilpatrick and his wife, Dawn Neuman Kilpatrick of Chesapeake; mother, Irene M. Kilpatrick of Suffolk; three brothers, Leo T. Kilpatrick and Bobby J. Kilpatrick, both of Suffolk, Larry G. Kilpatrick of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Altman. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
