Chesapeake - Dorothy Jean Bricker, 76, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was born in Portsmouth to the late Harvey and Mary Jones. She attended Community Church at Western Branch and is predeceased by her husband, Robert Allen Bricker; and a brother, Ray Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna J. Moring and husband Scott; a son, Ronnie A. Bricker; two sisters, Fay Flenner and Mary Ann Elgin; two brothers, Harvey Jones and Billy Jones; and two grandsons, Bobby and Matthew Bricker.

A funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, April 7, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by the Pastor Steve Hassell. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 7 P.M.
