Georgia Wright Haddon passed from this life to the next with the Lord Aug. 11, 2004. She was born in Charlottesville, Va., Oct. 8, 1940, to Robert and Edna Wright who predeceased her.

She retired from Verizon Telecommunications after 30 years of service. She then worked for Volunteers of America as a counselor and the City of Chesapeake as an instructor for 10 years. She is survived by a brother, James A. Wright of Suffolk; and cousins, Lillian W. Goodwin and Harry Pannill.
