William Thomas ``Bunchie'' Vann, 53, of the 3600 block of Linnet Lane, a retired salesman, died May 11, 1993, in his residence.

Mr. Vann was a native of Portsmouth and had retired from Montgomery Ward. He was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and Ole Virginia Hunt Club.Survivors include his wife, Marjorie M. Vann; one sister, Susan Vann-Chenault of Woodbridge, Va.; and one brother, H. Keith Vann of Reno, Nev.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
