BARBER, IRA CECIL, 56, of Gulfport, died Friday (July 12, 1996) at home. Born in Danville, Va., he came here in 1976 from Portsmouth, Va., and was a carpenter. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Marie; a daughter, Bonita, and two sons, Michael and Cecil Jr., all of Virginia; a stepson, Jeffrey Wortham, Gulfport; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Kiel, St. Petersburg; a sister, Lynn Tate, Keysville, Va.; and five grandchildren.
