James E. Aydlette of Greene

James E. Aydlette, 68, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Thelma Aydlette; brothers, Robert, William, and Douglas Aydlette; and by sister, Sandra Wallace.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Aydlette, Greene; children, Kim and Mark Anthony, Robin Miltier, Trisha Bain, Jamie Aydlette; stepchildren, Penny, Jackie and Glenn; 14 loving grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sharon and Roger Pittman, Nancy Evans; brother-in-law, Tex and Lorelei Wallace; several nieces and nephews. Jim was proud of and loved his children and grandchildren. He retired from AT&T/Lucient.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, at Root Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Taylor, interim Pastor of First United Methodist Church, Greene, officiating. Friends of the family may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St., Greene, N.Y. 13778.
