Priscilla Y. Samek

Portsmouth – Priscilla Yvonne Samek, 45, of 3020 Smithfield Road, a native of North Carolina, died Tuesday in a hospital.

Mrs. Samek was a member of Victory Boulevard Church of Christ.

Survivors include her parents, Jessie Moses Ashe and Harley E. Ashe Sr.,; a son, James R. Samek of Portsmouth; two sisters, Wanda L. Patton of Winston-Salem N.C. and Patricia A. Beacheam of Portsmouth; and two brothers, Harley E. Ashe Jr. of Blacksburg and Thomas E. Ashe of Portsmouth.

The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Danny Stalls. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
