Lennie William Wagner, Jr. Class of 1957

The Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday, August 17, 1987 Portsmouth – Lennie William Wagner Jr., 44, of 906 DeKalb Ave., a native of Altavista, died Monday in a hospital. He had retired from a job at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Survivors include his father, Lennie W. Wagner Sr. of Ceres; a daughter, Kristy Lynn Wanger, and a son, Kelly Shawn Wagner, both of Portsmouth; and a sister, Julia W. Mullins of Suffolk. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Don Sheffield. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
