Portsmouth - Donald Grey Redditt, 74, passed away in his home on February 14, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his first wife of 47 years, Patricia L. Redditt. Donald retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard planning/estimating dept. with over 30 years of service. He was a member of West Park Church of Christ and enjoyed duckpin bowling, playing cards and karaoke.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his wife, Jeannie W. Redditt; daughter, Patricia "Patty" Rena Woods of Portsmouth; son, Henry "Dubby" Ward Parker and wife Debra of Portsmouth; brother, Clifton L. Redditt of Chesapeake; six grandchildren, Darah, Amber, Corey, D.J., Beckie, and Addie; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ramolia and his nurse Allison, and Wanda with Bon Secours Hospice.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 1 PM in West Park Church of Christ by Mr. Keith Lewis. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Monday from 6-8 PM. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
