Chesapeake - Brainard Franklin "Frank" Moore, Sr., 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, November 17, 2011. He died peacefully in his home. He was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Frank and Charlotte Moore. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Harper and brother, Henry L. Moore.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice Ladd Moore; two daughters, Deborah Byrum and husband David and Karen Moore; two sons, Buddy Moore and wife Robin and Kenny Moore and wife Sandra; a sister, Bette Jo Baum and husband Wesley; eight grandchildren, Cassie Caldwell, Melissa Moore, Derek Byrum, Charlotte Moore, Aubrey Cagle, Trey Moore, Tiffany Moore and Blake Moore; and four great grandchildren, Hailey, J.D., Kamryn and Ashley.

A funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Monday, November 21, at Temple Baptist Church by Dr. James Rushing, Jr. and Rev. Jerry Greco. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Sunday from 3:30 - 5:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Temple Baptist Mission Fund.
