Bobby Burnell Foxwell, 57, of the 3400 block of Bob White Lane, a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, died April 19, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mr. Foxwell was born in Portsmouth. He was a veteran of Vietnam and was retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a past master of America Fellowship Masonic Lodge (NU)148 and Ivor (NU)291 and was also a past district deputy grand master for the 31st Masonic District.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Muesing Foxwell; three daughters, Martha Foxwell Moore and Vicki Foxwell Hurley, both of Smithfield, and Mary Foxwell Soroky of Owings Mills, Md.; one sister, Billie Foxwell Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one granddaughter, Lauren Soroky.

A graveside service, with Masonic rites and military honors, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton, by Chaplain William A. Bragdon. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
