CHESAPEAKE - Joyce Adams Wilson, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was a 1954 graduate of Cradock High School, a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter No. 16. She retired from Wachovia Bank after 35 years and for more than 20 years she was active with Parents Without Partners where she served as chapter and regional president. She was predeceased by a brother, Stacy L. Adams. She is survived by her loving husband, Wiley J. Wilson Jr.; three daughters, Sheri Morris Lewis, Paula Morris Tousley and Rachael Wilson Poole (Sean); three sons, Wiley J. Wilson III (Robin), Steven R. Wilson and Kenneth J. Wilson (Renée); 13 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Deep Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jonathan Bennett. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association .
