Coinjock - Glen Curtis Justice, Sr., 78, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 1, 2012. He was born in Louisa, KY to the late Joel and Goldie Justice. He retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a member of Coinjock Baptist Church. He is predeceased by his wife Peggy L. Justice and a grandson, Joshua Glen Justice.
He is survived by his two daughters, Margaret Powell of Chesapeake and Debbie McCuiston and husband David of Suffolk; a son, G. Curtis Justice, Jr. and wife Sharon of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a loving companion, Irene Douglas.
A funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Friday, October 5, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by the Rev. Ricky Bishop. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.
