Anne Coffman Emmerson, born Feb. 21, 1935, passed away on the morning of Feb. 22, 2008, after a brief illness. A retired employee of the State of Nevada, Anne was a 45-year resident of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis C. Coffman and Alice Prestridge; her brother, Col. C.C. "Buck" Coffman, USMC (Ret.); her former husband, Herb Emmerson; and her parents-in-law, Wilda and Fred Emmerson. Anne is survived by her son, Steve Emmerson; her daughter-in-law, Cindi Kelsay; her grand-cats, Bandit and Tigger; her sister-in-law, Barbara Coffman; niece, Sheri Coffman; and her nephew, David Coffman. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The family asks that any donations be made to the Nevada ASPCA in lieu of flowers.
