Aubrey Lacy Ramsey, 68, of the 1500 block of Jolliff Road, died Sept. 17, 2001, at a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Danville, Va., he was a Baptist and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Gerry Ramsey; a daughter, Doris Vick and husband Gary of Chesapeake; a son, William L. Ramsey and wife Mary of Gates County, N.C.; two sisters, Margaret Tribble of Bel Air, Neb. and Jean Eason of Odessa, Fla.; a brother, Richard Ramsey of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
