Portsmouth - Shirley Deal Askew, 84, went to her heavenly home on August 28, 2017. Shirley

was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Askew.

She is survived by a son, David L. Askew; a daughter, Deborah A. Castle and her husband

Gilbert ; a sister, Peggy D. Brinkley.

At Shirley's request there are no services planned at this time. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
