Gene Bushnell Class of 1945

The Virginian-Pilot, (Norfolk, VA) - July 30, 2000 Gene Bushnell, 73, of the 3700 block of Knotts Creek Lane, died July 29, 2000, in his home. Mr. Bushnell, a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., was a retired chemist from Virginia Chemical and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret G. Bushnell; two daughters, Tanya B. Everett of Littleton, Colo., June B. Andrew of Celina, Ohio; two sons, Edward Jay Bushnell and George E. Bushnell, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, James A. Bushnell of Prescott, Ariz., Jack I. Bushnell of Chandler, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. A private service will be held later. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements.
