Catherine Miller-Stewart

PORTSMOUTH – Catherine Miller Stewart, 93, of the 100 block of Yorkshire Rd. passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 in a local hospital. Born on April 2, 1924 in Portsmouth, she was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Grace Miller; and her loving husband of 57 ½ years, Elton E. Stewart, Jr.; her sister, Glenna A. Funk; and two brothers, James and Horace Miller.

She is survived by a brother, Harry S. Miller of Chatham, VA; and a host of other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday evening from 7 – 8 PM.
