Shirley Casteen Tretola, 69, a lifelong resident at 817 Burksdale Road, died April 27, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Tretola was born in Portsmouth.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Tretola Jr.; a daughter, Dana T. Huffman of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a sister, Doris C. McClenney of Harrisonburg, Va.; a brother, John T. Casteen Jr. of Chesapeake; a grandson, K.C. Alexander Huffman of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and an aunt, Mildred E. McCrary of Portsmouth.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel, by the Rev. P. David Klinsing. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Family will be at 2304 Wildwood Road in Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
