Emeline M. Harlow , 56, of the 2700 block of Meadow Drive W., a retired business education teacher, died June 17, 1991, in a Portsmouth hospital.

Mrs. Harlow , a native of Front Royal, Va., had retired from Cradock High School. She was also a guidance counselor at Portsmouth Catholic High School. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, American Association of University Women, Beta Sigma Phi and Kappa Delta Phi.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert W. Harlow ; and three daughters, Laura M. Harlow of Chesapeake, Caroline I. Harlow of Front Royal and JoAnne H. Cacho of Fredericksburg.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m Thursday in Emmanuel Episcopal Church by the Rev. L. Jerome Taylor Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to the church or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
