Dossen Mickel Creef

November 27, 1954 - March 8, 2015

Dossen Mickel Creef, Sr., 60, died March 8, 2015. A native of Portsmouth, he was predeceased by his father, Doss Weldon Creef; and son, Dossen Michael Creef, Jr. Dossen was the proud owner of DMC Construction and Concepts. He was a member of Western Branch Community Church and enjoyed anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his daughter, Jodi Creef of Portsmouth; mother, Eva Hedger Creef of Portsmouth; two sisters, Jeannie Fulcher (Billy) and Jimsennia Oneail (John) of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Dylan Michael, Anthony Michael and Caliegh Nicole; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Mar. 12, at 1 PM in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
