Renee Vann Whiddon, 46, of the 2700 block of East Meadow Drive, died May 16, 1993, in her home.
Mrs. Whiddon was born in Portsmouth. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church. She was a pre-school Sunday School teacher and a member of the church choir.
Survivors include her husband, James Edward Whiddon; a daughter, Amy Renee Whiddon of Chesapeake; her mother, Ethel Spruill Vann of Portsmouth; and a brother, Raymond Gene Vann of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Alan G. Moor. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
