Portsmouth - Norwood Franklin "Woody" Robinson, 68, of the 800 block of Nottingham Rd. passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015. He was born on September 10, 1946 in Portsmouth to the late Corbett and Annie Robinson; and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a nuclear pipefitter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, J. Dianne Robinson; and a brother, Bobby Robinson. He is survived by two brothers, Eugene and Ronald Robinson; a sister, Melinda R. Gibson; two nephews, Gene Jr. and Bobby Jr. who were his constant support throughout his illness; and a host of other nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Autumn Care of Portsmouth for the wonderful care and love that they showed Woody. Funeral services will be private.
