Portsmouth - Ronald Wayne Corns, 68, of the 4300 block of Deep Creek Blvd. died Monday, June 16, 2014 in his residence. A native of Portsmouth, he was retired from Waters & Martin Hardware and was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Survivors include two nieces, Stephanie Gustavson and Debbie Tyree; two nephews, Bryan Silverthorne and Steven Corns; a sister-in-law, Connie Patton; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Corns and a sister, Lucille Silverthorne.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, June 23, in Albert G. Horton Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
