PORTSMOUTH - Jimmy Clari Wynn Jr., 57, of the 200 block of Navajo Trail, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, in his residence.

He was a native of Everetts, N.C., and was a retired electrician foreman from Shop 99 of Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 27 years. He was a member of Lee Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Clari Wynn III, Timothy Francis Wynn Sr. and Robert Gene Wynn Sr., all of Portsmouth; a brother, Darrell Wynn, also of Portsmouth; and seven grandchildren, Lauren Wynn, Timothy Wynn Jr., Jessica Hall, Robert Wynn Jr., Madison Wynn, Steven Henderson and Dean Vaughan.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tony Peaks. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
