Leonard F. "Butch" Reppert, age 61, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2004 at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1942 in Baltimore, Md. Butch worked for the Crestview Police Department as a Chief Investigator and with the Florida Highway Patrol as a dispatcher. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Reppert was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and DAV. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Reppert of Crestview; mother, Hilda Rep-pert; girls, Lori Powers of Bear Lake, Mich., Kim Reppert of Crestview, Wendy Lewis and Austin of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Toni Ann Harbage and Allan of Lawrenceville, Va.; grandchildren, Drew and Noah Reppert, Wesley and Keith Powers, Dallas Lewis; special friend, Frank McLaughlin of Crestview.

He was also loved by numerous neighbors, friends and relatives. He will be missed and loved for-ever.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Harbage officiating. Burial will follow at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
