SUFFOLK - Walter William Loulies Jr., 58, of the 2800 block of Manning Road, died May 27, 2002, in Norfolk.

A native of Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Walter W. Loulies Sr. and the late Helen Fredberg Loulies. He was a retired poultry farmer and a member of Alliance Christian Church.

Survivors include his companion, Nancy Stack of Suffolk; estranged wife, Mary Ann Loulies of Portsmouth; a daughter, Kimberly Ritter of Portsmouth; two sons, Bobby Loulies and wife Debbie of Chesapeake, and Tim Loulies of Portsmouth; a sister, Gloria Holland of Portsmouth; and four grandchildren, Joshua Barker, Jeremy Ritter and Greg Skeels and Brittany Loulies.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Earl Freeland. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:35 p.m. today. The family will also be at 2333 Wildwood Road, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alliance Christian Church youth group.
