Ralph G. Crawson; 70, of Glen Burnie died of colon cancer May 10 at his home.

Born Dec. 30, 1933, in Tallahassee, Fla., he was a former director of the Special Olympics in Montgomery County.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ralph E. Crawson; one brother, Herbert Crowson; and one sister, Betty Chase.

Survivors include one son, Robert E. Crawson of Frederick; three daughters, Robin L. Crawson of Rochester, N.Y., Rhonda L. Anders of Laytonsville, and Regina L. Crawson of Gaithersburg; two brothers, Howard Crowson of Portsmouth, Va., and Roy Crowson of Owensborough, Ky.; two sisters, Doris Mullins of South Shore, Ky., and Jeannette Rodman of Portsmouth, Va.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held yesterday at Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville.
